WHAT: a 4-mile, Walk/Run4Freedom to help those who have been abused by Human Trafficking
WHERE: Downtown Greenfield Plaza; we will be walking on the Pennsy Trail, with the start and finish on the Plaza
WHEN: Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 9am
WHY: The registration money that you pay goes straight to Rapha House and Purchased.
Rapha House is an organization that helps to combat Human Trafficking. (See Rapha House website on the sidebar!) They help girls achieve lasting freedom through care, counseling, vocational training, and education.
Purchased (see website on the sidebar!) works in Indiana to help with prevention and education about trafficking.
Our Story...
The vision to help those who have been trafficked was started in the heart of Taylor Zimmerman, a homeschooled student, at a girls' retreat in Ohio. In November of 2012, she asked Emily Weber, a student at New Palestine, and Molly Warren, also homeschooled, to be part of a team. This team would be organizing a fundraising walk to support Rapha House financially and to bring awareness to the Human Trafficking epidemic. (27 million people are in slavery around the world today; it is a $32 billion a year industry).
Jesus has been opening doors and leading us as we take each step! He has truly blessed this project, and to Him goes all of the glory for its success!
We hope to see you in September!!

The Most important part: prayer!
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: PRAYER!
A survivor of Sex Trafficking, on her blog (here), writes this:
- "You see, talking about my chains does not free me from them. The only thing
that will free me from my prison in that chair is to find the key and unlock the
padlocks on those chains. Prayer is the key. We pray and God does the work.
In that sense, it truly is simple."
If we do not love enough to give our time and effort to pray, we are not truly loving them. They truly, desperately need Your prayers!
